We have a wealth of information about the area available in the office to help you plan the perfect days and relaxing evenings that will make your holiday experience memorable. The area offers something for everyone, and knowing your taste in recreational experiences will help you to ensure the activities you choose for you and your family will be JUST right. Sports and the Great Outdoors

  • Fishing–Bring a boat or throw a line in from shore, no license required for salt water fishing!
  • Kayaking or Canoeing–River or Ocean!
  • Boating–Sail or Motorboat!
  • Hiking–Hit the beach, the road or the numerous trails nearby…
  • Cycling–Ride the trails or the roads–very scenic!
  • Waterfalls–We’re located on what is known as “Waterfall Alley” in Nova Scotia–grab your camera and your hiking shoes!
  • Photography–Phenomenal sights to record!
  • Beaches–Go for a stroll, collect some treasures, or gather some dulse.
  • Walk the floor of the sea!
  • Rockhounding–Check out the beaches and islands right in front of us or head for the shops in Parrsboro
  • Fossils–Go on a fossil hunt–but if you find anything, leave it untouched and call the museum!
  • Golf–Loads of golf courses nearby…ask for a complete list in the office!

  • Parks–Local and Provincial
  • Picnicking–Lots of beautiful spots to enjoy!
  • Swimming–Take  a dip in the pool or wade into the Ocean!
  • Clamming–We have a commercial clam bed right out front!
  • ATVs–Follow the river past the falls and head for the hills!
  • Birding–Many species in the area!
  • Star-gazing–You’ve NEVER seen stars like this!
  • Flowers and Fauna–Everywhere!!
  • Relax and enjoy the view, including the highest tides in the world, right from your site!
  • Drive the Fundy Eco-Tour!
  • Participate in, or grab a shore-side seat, to cheer on the runners in the renowned “Not Since Moses” race, the increasingly infamous annual race across the floor of the ocean when the waters part at low tide!! A grueling but memorable experience!
